Are my images uploaded to a server?
No. All conversion happens entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your files never leave your device, which makes the tool fast and private.
Is there a file size or count limit?
There is no hard limit on the number of files. Very large images are limited only by your device's available memory, since processing is local.
Which formats can I convert to WebP?
JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF, AVIF, HEIC/HEIF, BMP, TIFF, and SVG. The output is always WebP.
Will I lose quality?
You control quality with a 1–100% slider. At 80–90% the result is visually identical to the original while being significantly smaller.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It works directly in your browser — no app, plugin, or signup required.
